Sports Media Volunteer Program *Orientation Meeting*

Looking for a way to push the younger athletes in your community?
or Are you looking to build your sports media portfolio?
or Are you looking to build your sports media portfolio?
Well, Jumpshot has built a versatile Sports Media Volunteer Program.
Volunteers will choose High School basketball games to attend in the
20-21 basketball season.

They will be given the opportunity to build relationships
with players and coaches within their community.

Along with filming game highlights that will be featured on Jumpshot social media.
Candidates seeking more in-depth sports media experience:
• Volunteers choose amongst various sports media projects to practice and build their personal media portfolio.
• These volunteers will be invited to travel with the Jumpshot Media Team, to attend basketball games of the top recruits of Georgia, Tennessee, and Mississippi.
Once volunteers attend 3 games, they will receive a Jumpshot Media Pass to wear while attending future games they sign up for. All volunteers will be tagged and recognized for their work featured on the Jumpshot social media.

Well, we are having our official Orientation Meeting Sunday, November 29, 2020 @ 6p, at the UAB Alumni House.
This meeting will tell all details behind our Sports Media Volunteer Program. You along with all other volunteers will attend your first game the following Saturday, December 5, 2020.
To stay safe during Covid there are four 20-minute slots. A minimum of 15 people may attend each slot. RSVP a time slot by emailing jumpshot.tv@yahoo.com.

JUMPSHOT is an upcoming sports media network stationed in Birmingham, AL. We use our sports marketing to broadcast the upcoming basketball talent in Alabama and Georgia.

POSITION
Sports Media Volunteer (December - March)
RESPONSIBILITIES
· No experience or camera equipment required (Smartphone required if no camera equipment)
· Remote work (Will need transportation to assigned games within the area)
· You will work closely with the Social Media & Events Team
· Help pick top plays to share on JUMPSHOT social media.
· Build Relationships with elite athletes, coaches & more.
· Bonus: Edit mixtapes if you know how (or we will teach you)

· Must have own smartphone or camera equipment
· You must love Basketball
· You must live in or near one of the select cities.
· 3-5 hours free each week
· Hours are flexible – usually afternoons, evenings, weekends
